Aurora is delighted to announce representation of their latest client, Chocoladefabriken Lindt & Sprüngli AG, aka Lindt. Recognized as the market leader in premium quality chocolate and offering a large selection of products in over 100 countries around the world. The company was founded in 1845 and has become known as one of the most innovative and creative companies making premium chocolate. Lindt has production sites in Europe, the US, and distribution and sales on four continents with net sales in excess of $3 billion. Toronto-based Lindt Canada opened its first Lindt Chocolate Shop in Mississauga in 2006. Since then it has opened shops across the country, providing a destination for more than 700 chocolate products to consumers across Canada. Prior to the pandemic shutdown, the company counted over 30 locations across Canada, in malls, mixed-use projects and outlet centres. Currently, under the recommendations of both Federal and Provincial governments, the chain is planning for a gradual reopening of its shops. The chain is also preparing to exploring expansion opportunities in Canada and has retained Aurora’s Jeffrey Berkowitz to handle its real estate activities. The chain will operate in a range of sizes, from about 500 square feet to 2000 square feet, depending on the market and the site. The stores locate in high traffic street front units, outlet centres, malls and major office buildings.
