iPOP Brings Burnaby It’s First Indoor Pickleball Facility

Pickleball is taking off in Canada, and if you've ever played in the Greater Vancouver Area, you know how much the sport has been held back by a lack of dedicated indoor courts—especially during those long, cold winters. But that’s all about to change!

We’re thrilled to announce the upcoming launch of IPOP’s first-ever dedicated indoor pickleball facility at The City of Lougheed in Burnaby. This state-of-the-art venue will feature nine professional-grade courts, a regulation-size practice court, expert coaching, organized leagues, a pro shop, and much more. It’s set to open in December 2024, just in time for the winter season!

But that’s not all—IPOP is also expanding to Penticton, where we’ll be part of the Peach City Sportsplex. This sports complex will include 8 indoor and 9 outdoor pickleball courts, alongside two NHL-sized hockey rinks, a baseball training center, and more.

Both of these new locations will help address the growing demand for indoor pickleball courts, providing high-quality spaces for players of all levels to enjoy the sport year-round.

IPOP is a proudly Canadian initiative focused on creating accessible, inclusive, and sustainable spaces for pickleball enthusiasts. With strategic locations and a commitment to community-driven development, we’re excited to offer players in Burnaby, the Tri-Cities, Penticton, and beyond, the best in indoor pickleball facilities!
