Aurora x Quartz co

In September 2020, Quebec-based cold weather coat manufacturer Quartz Co. opened its first boutique, a 5300 square foot location at 5445 Avenue De Gaspe in Montreal’s Mile End neighbourhood, launching its Canadian retail expansion. Following through on its growth plan, in September 2021, Quartz Co opened a 2500 square foot location at 1253 St Catherine St West at De La Montagne St. in Montreal’s ‘Golden Square Mile’ area and a 4000 square foot in Yorkdale Shopping Centre in Toronto. In addition, in June 2021, Quartz Co. Founders, Owners and Brothers Jean-Philippe, François-Xavier, and Guillaume Robert also acquired the Want Les Essentials brand of luxury leather goods, that includes bags, shoes and accessories. The Want Les Essentials collection has been added to the Quartz Co merchandise selection, joining the company’s lightweight outerwear that it has become known for in Canada and internationally. Additional expansion plans have yet to be announced and the principals are exploring the possibility of Want Les Essentials standalone stores, however, no decisions have been finalized. Quartz Co is seeking high profile 1500 to 2500 square foot units in enclosed malls, high streets and lifestyle centres.
