Aurora x Pattes et griffes

In early September, Franchisee Catherine Jeffrey opened a 3000 square foot Pattes & Griffes specialty pet food and supplies store in a Metro supermarket-anchored open centre at 513 Samuel-de-Champlain St in Boucherville in Montreal’s South Shore. Pattes & Griffes is a chain of over 35 specialty stores specializing in natural and holistic pet food. The chain features a wide variety of brands of dry, wet, freeze-dried, dehydrated and raw foods with no byproducts, corn, wheat and soy. The franchise chain is now actively seeking additional sites in the South Shore area, in the Gatineau area in western Quebec, Trois Rivieres and in Laval West. Dan Knafo at Aurora Realty Consultants is handling the site selection and notes that Pattes & Griffes targets highly visible plaza and street front locations with convenient access near complementary retailers. The size required is in the 2200 to 3000 square foot range.
