Aurora Welcomes Machi Machi to Toronto

Machi Machi serves a variety of unique tea-based beverages. The drinks are served in thin, adorable bottles that allow the beverages to be layered with delicious toppings, offering customers a flavourful experience with each sip. The cream foam contains an unusual secret ingredient. The foam is created from a blend of the best cream cheeses from across the world. Over 30 different types of cream cheese were reviewed in order to create the perfect blend. The store has cute, playful decor that reflects creativity. From pastel seats to sprinkle-covered walls, their stores are full of photo ops. With stores in 14 different locations including London, New York, Japan, Singapore, South Korea and now Canada, this rapidly growing brand has had an international reception like no other. Plans are in motion for additional locations and Aurora’s Ashley Lebofsky has been retained to handle the site selection in the greater Toronto region. Target sites include suburban centres with high vehicular traffic, street front units with heavy pedestrian traffic and enclosed malls. Size requirements are 1200 to 1500 square feet for non-enclosed sites and 600 to 800 square feet for enclosed spaces.
