After introduced the Brigade Pizzeria Napolitaine in September 2014 in downtown Montreal, husband and wife team, Jean-Daniel Nadeau and Grace Yeh followed with a franchise program and plans of national growth, starting in Quebec. Late in 2017, the company retained Jean-Francois Thibault at Aurora Realty Consultants to handle the site selection in Quebec. In June, the second Brigade Pizzeria Napolitaine opened on 1824 King St. West in Sherbrooke in Quebec’s Eastern Townships area. The quick casual restaurant features custom made Neapolitan pizza with a wide selection of fresh toppings, cooked in a wood oven at 900 degrees. The restaurant is licensed for beer and wine and the menu also includes sandwiches, salads and entrees. With its trendy and contemporary design, its comfortable environment, the restaurant caters to a wide range of customers from 17 to 40 years, drawing from residential, industrial and commercial surroundings. Currently Brigade Pizzeria is sourcing high traffic street front units of about 1500 square feet. The company, however, will consider opportunities ranging from 500 to 750 square feet to a full size high traffic street-front locations in the 2000 to 4000 square foot range. The company continues to source potential franchisees from coast to coast. Discussions are currently underway for a location in Laval.
